Our Story

Welcome to Brooklyn’s Country View (BCV), where every morning begins with a warm smile and a nice cup of coffee! Founded in 2009 by Jeff Fontaine, our restaurant started with a vision to create a welcoming space for the community to enjoy delicious meals throughout the day.

In its early days, BCV opened its doors offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner under the ownership of Jeff Fontaine and his two business partners. Over time, however, we realized where our true passion lay. We made the decision to focus exclusively on what we do best—serving exceptional breakfast and lunch dishes that have become favorites among locals and visitors alike.

In a significant step forward, Jeff Fontaine took ownership of the adjacent driving range in 2017, which included the remaining portion of the building where our restaurant was located. This expansion not only allowed us to enhance our dining area but also provided space for a cozy upstairs antique shop, adding a unique charm to our establishment.

At BCV, we take pride in being an integral part of the Northeast Connecticut community. From sponsoring local events to supporting charitable initiatives, we believe in giving back to the community that has warmly embraced us over the years.

The loyalty of our customers has been the cornerstone of our success. We cherish each and every person who walks through our doors, and it is their continued support that motivates us to strive for excellence every day.

As we look to the future, we remain committed to delivering exceptional dining experiences and maintaining the warm, inviting atmosphere that has made BCV a beloved gathering place. We are excited about the possibilities that lie ahead and invite you to join us on this journey.
